SQIBB (Studio Quality Invisible Black Background)
This week I tried a new and interesting technique I learned called SQIBB, which stands for Studio Quality Invisible Black Background. Believe it or not, but these were all taken in a perfectly lit room. These images get this effect because of #1 your camera settings and #2 your lighting. For your camera settings, you will want to let in as little light as possible so your images come out black without any auxiliary lighting. And for your lighting, I used a speedlite with a Rogue Flashbender attached to it, while it’s snooted.
This is a tutorial by Glyn Dewis.
Here are the images I captured using this technique. Feel free to let me know what you think and if you have any questions!
